A Trio of B48

I hate winter...and although to photo looks lovely...Vitamin D is missing from my system.
Another way to help is to think of warm summer vineyards...how about the property of Nelles in the Ahr Valley?

I had been knocked out by the B 48 2009...and the property was offering a three-pack over the holiday period. Vintage...2010, 2006 & 2007.
Nelles Heimersheimer Landskrone
B48 Spätburgunder
Ahr, Germany

To be honest...the 2010 was not on my buying agenda...so I was nicely surprised by it's young...slightly rough fruit...and good balance. Leave it a year of two if you buy it.

The 2006 has no longer any puppy fruit...fully developed nose...mushrooms sprang to mind...Drink this now.

The final one of the trio...the best you leave to last...as any egg eater will know. Marzipan fruit...perfection at the moment...lingering on the palate...super soft sweet fruit...drink or leave a few years. Either way...you will be rewarded.
